
A Parisian cab driver tried to convince us to let him take us directly to our hotel for 16 euros each but we stuck to our original plan of using the RER and the metro and it only cost us 9.25 euro each.

Although none of us had slept much, after we checked into our hotel, we set out on foot to explore a bit.


Here we are at The Louvre. Locals say that it is estimated to take 9 months just to glance at every artwork in the world's largest museum.

You put a lock on the fence to show your love and commitment and then throw the key into the Seine River. A lot of the locks are engraved.
